How to repair a leaky window

We get several calls every month from customers that have leaky windows.  Most of the time the
leaky window is due to the window being flashed incorrectly.  Dave shows us in the video below how
he repairs the leak by correctly flashing the new window.

Mixing Window Treatments in the same space

Our customers ask many times about using different types of window treatments in the same room.  The answer is YES.  For various reasons this can work beautifully.  If you have different shaped windows like this bedroom it's a perfect opportunity to do two different styles of window treatments.

We used a white cotton blend blackout roman shade for the picture window and a circle shutter with 3" louvers for the circle window.  Shutters are the perfect solution to a specialty shaped window.

In this living room we matched the drapery that was already in the room with a cream polyester blend.  We chose to do an outside mount to keep with the consistency of the height of the drapery as well as consistency of coverage over the window trim.

For this kitchen seating nook we mixed in shutters again with a roman shade.  The roman shade offers complete privacy from that window when closed.  The shutters on the other windows offer the perfect amount of privacy from the direction of the windows while allowing light to come in.

Mixing different styles of treatments in a room is not only a great choice for functionality purposes but great esthetically for design as well.  Each window will have it's own character while performing to perfection for your exact needs.

GLASS REPLACEMENT.....A simple and easy fix to any broken window or a great way to makeover a window or convert into energy savings!!

We all break a window from time to time.  Many people wonder do I need to replace the entire window or can I just have replacement glass installed.  Glass replacement is simple and far less expensive than replacing an entire new window.  We use your existing frame and simply replace the glass.   We can replace any type of glass including glass with interior or exterior grids, tinted, privacy, designer and tempered to name a few.  Replacement glass is a great way to upgrade to a high performance energy efficient glass or to makeover the look of a window.   You can save alot of money just by switching out old glass to a high Performance Low E glass which keeps the heat in during the winter months and the heat out during the summer months.  It also has UV control which will helps prevent curtains and furniture from fading from the sun coming in through the window.  Makeover the look of your windows by replacing the existing glass with a designer glass, glass with interior or exterior grids, tinted and colored glass or privacy.
